Hi, I’m BeezeeBox. I have been creating Minecraft adventure maps since 2019. I started my Minecraft journey through playing the game with my
child. I've been a gamer all my life but Minecraft just never appealed to me on release because I was abit older and I thought the graphics were rubbish and I also did not fully understand how the game worked. Also I used to party alot when this game was released so that might be another reason why it never got my attention!

Once I got into the game, I instantly purchased it for myself and downloaded it onto my PC. I played some survival but I was more interest in the creative side of it and what I could build with it. This is when I started messing around and first come up with my map style. Fun fact, I thought everyone built maps like me, but I soon realised that was not the case as people generally built open worlds for people to play, not linear dungeon-crawler environments.

Around October 2019, my first maps were uploaded onto mcpedl.com and instantly started gaining traction. With thousands of download and many small YouTubers making videos on my maps, coupled with the fact covid made everyone stay indoors which made me have a lot of spare time on my hands. This was the perfect way to burn that time and learn some new skills while I'm at it.

It was only around a couple months later I was approached by a partnered studio and started producing maps for them to publish on the Minecraft marketplace, so I could actually start earning money from my maps! I jumped at this opportunity and for around the next 2 years produced a variety of maps that made it onto the marketplace.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to get back to everyday life and did not have the time I needed to carry on building Minecraft maps.
I've then worked on various unrelated projects over the years but I knew one day I would come back to map building as it was a genuine passion of mine. Well here I am some years later, writing this while building my online portfolio website with full intentions to dive back into Minecraft and unleash as many new maps as I possibly can.
